Canon 70-200 L2.8 is still one of the best lenses for wedding photographers in Toronto or elsewhere in the world. It produces distortion that is actually pleasing to our eye; the depth of field is stunning, and its speed never ceases to amaze me. In other words, this lens gives you that nice “everything else is blurry” touch, it can shoot at night, and makes you look sexy!
Here’s a little collection of our favourite photographs taken with this amazing lens.
Anya and Vova had their engagement photographs taken at a flight simulator. Should I mention that I had a chance to crash my plane? Twice. The guys were fantastic and we even used the studio strobes (in a photo above) to give the session even a more distinct look.
This photo was taken somewhere in the University of Toronto area. As far as I remember, not much posing was going on, although it looks quite posed. The shades and the lens give the photo its amazing magazine-like look.
One of the reasons why I love this lens so much is because it provides some distance between me and my couples, which allows them to be totally themselves around each other. Good times at Scarborough Buffs!
The classiest of the classiest. Daniela and Andre took us to the TTC depot where we were lucky to use the first TTC streetcar as our prop. Quite amazing, eh?!
You gotta remember the winter of 2013! Yes, that’s exactly when this engagement photograph was taken. We love the sincere emotions on the bride and groom’s faces, and the amazing composition!
Thanks for reading! Happy Wednesday! :)
