Leblovic wedding was nothing but classy. It all started with the girls preparation at Katie’s house:
Katie is an amazing person, but she is not a big fan of family pictures… Let me just say that there were too many funny moments and I had to shoot in between :)
After we took the bridal party shots, there was something to be arranged and discussed. We had to change a few lenses and replace a few cards, and then something absolutely pure and magical happened…
Geoff and Katie just got into this pose without me even asking them to do anything. All I had to do was find the right angle and shoot away!
It looks like it could have been posed. But it wasn’t! I am not a big fan of predicting how well the photographs will turn out right after I captured them, but in this case I knew – I just captured something magical
Due to an early start, the guys refused to have their pictures taken in the morning.
And the girls got their 5 minutes in shade, too :)
And of course, how could we stay away from utilizing the carts? :) The guys at Whiste Bear Golf Club were amazing! They brought the carts exactly where I asked and how I asked. Although, as far as I remember, that was more an exception than a rule ;)
This was a fantastic catch!
When we finished with the bridal party pictures, we were told that we have 10 minutes with the bride and groom. We were in our cart 50-70 meters behind, and at some point, I pointed my camera and yelled “Kiss guys!”. All I had was a second and here you go! Geoff later told me that they almost went to a ditch, because he almost lost control of the thing. He was also quite surprised that I actually got a decent photo :)
Those were our last 5 minutes, and what did we get? Absolutely stunning, magical light!
Very classy banquet hall. Some details are below.
Entrance of the beautiful couple. Classy to the last bit.
As you’ve guessed… Speeches:
Katie’s sister gave a very deep speech. The family is sharing the moment of love and joy right after the speech. Love this photo! :
Some details of the wedding hall:
This gentleman was taking photographs the whole day. Very classy, though. Never in my shot. Thank you for making me a company, sir! :)
Guests are having a good time:
Hugging Katie’s parents after their speech
This was the funniest moment ever! At some point, Geoff stopped in the middle of his speech, looked at Katie and said: “Can you stop reading this?”
She was literally reading his notes. Needless to say, all that note had is how amazing she was and how much he loves her :D
The hall literally exploded with laughter:
Cutting of the cake:
First dance. This was an absolutely intimate experience:
Only two of them know what she was whispering in his ear at that moment…
Irish dance. Katie invited professional who taught the guests Irish dance
At every wedding, when all formals and all possible dancing photos are taken, I take my camera and go around to take photographs of the guests who shy away from the dance floor :)
If you’ve read our article on photographs at the tables, you will see the difference. No half-eaten food and centrepieces covering half of the people. Fun and classy!
Thank you for letting me capture your wedding, Katie and Geoff!
I hope these photographs will remind you how amazing your wedding was for many years to come…
